# Yep! Type Foundry

> Independent type foundry by Roman Shamin, based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Two typefaces currently in the catalog: Unifora and Innovator Grotesk.

Licensing is priced by the licensee's company size and billed once
(perpetual). The license never requires upgrading: no per-channel
licenses, no MAU reporting, no re-licensing when traffic, installs,
or print runs grow. Designed to be a one-time infrastructure purchase
rather than an ongoing compliance obligation.

## Typefaces

- [Unifora](https://yeptype.com/fonts/unifora "Unifora — uniwidth variable sans-serif superfamily"): Uniwidth variable sans-serif superfamily. 135 static styles (5 widths × 9 weights × 3 styles). Full 3-axis variable font (wght 100–900, wdth 75–125, slnt −18 to +18). The slant axis covers both italic (negative values) and retalic (positive values), a rightward oblique unique to Unifora. Within each width subfamily, every glyph holds its advance width across all weights and slants, eliminating layout reflow when weight changes. Cap-centered vertical metrics and a 70% x-height, held constant across all five widths. Supports 250+ Latin-script languages. Designed for data-dense UI, dashboards, wayfinding, and display work.

Weight and italic axes. 18 styles plus a variable font. Cap-centered vertical metrics (equal space above cap height and below baseline) and a 75% x-height, so labels sit optically centered on buttons and beside icons with a single padding value. Metrics and proportions are intentionally very close to SF Pro and similar to Inter; designed to sit comfortably in layouts built for either. Subtle technical character; suited to startups, tech products, and UI where Inter reads as generic.
